His military career commenced with a rigorous basic training at Fort Jackson , South Carolina, following which he continued to serve his nation diligently as a reservist. Demonstrating remarkable aptitude and dedication, he graduated at the top of his class during the Advanced Individual Training (AIT) held at Sheppard Air Force Base .
